The opening of the bag is 13.5" wide by 6" deep and stands 14" tall (not including straps). The interior has a single leather pocket, sized 8" wide x 4" tall, perfectly sized for your cell phone and lip smacker. You will also find a handy 6" strap with an attached split key ring so you'll never again have to dig to the bottom of your bag to find your keys.
 
The Interior of bag as well as the exterior botton are made from 100% cotton, water repellant #10 duck canvas fabric. The exterior print is a whimsical Japanese cotton canvas fabric (the print placement on the front and the back of the bag is identical).
 
The tote straps are 3/4" wide mossy green heavy cowhide leather, riveted in place for longevity. The straps measure 23" and fit comfotably over your shoulder, even when you're wearing a winter coat.
