Inspired by the 1940 children's book Caps for Sale by Esphyr Slobodkina, this one-of-a-kind beanie features original patterning to represent the peddler, the checkered cap, the grey caps, and so on. It is knit with comfortable 2x2 rib hem hem and is hand loomed on a knitting machine out of domestic 100% wool.
Handmade by yours truly in Minnesota.
This hat measures 11" tall and 20" around, designed to comfortably fit most adult heads.
Care Instructions: Dry clean or hand wash in cold water with mild detergent and dry flat.
