This one-of-a-kind, asymmetrical cardigan is hand knit using a reverse stockinette stitch. The gentle curves at the neck, along the placket and at the top edge of the patch pocket are created by knitting the Shetland classic Old Shale stitch motif. It all comes together with vintage domed metal buttons and one precisely mis-matched, matching embossed button.

The yarn used to knit this sweater is incredible - one strand of a perfectly plum tweed with neps of pink, orange, purple, and black held knit with a second strand of Silk Cloud (60% Mohair, 40% Silk). Together, these yarns create a luxurious halo.

I love to knit and I knit A LOT of sweaters - more than I could ever dream of wearing. Each sweater is one-of-a-kind and was, more or less, knit to my dimensions.
